How to Enter
Attach a copy of the entry form to the entry. If you are entering a work in more than one
category, only one tape/disk is required. Attach a separate form and entry fee for each
category to the entry. Entries cannot be returned. Only one entry per tape or disk. If you have
more than one entry, each entry must be submitted on a separate tape or disc. The exception
to this is an entry for a campaign in which case a group of commercials or PSAs should be
submitted on the same tape or disc. Mail the entry to:

Tape Formats
Acceptable tape formats (NTSC) are Mini DV, DVcam, Betacam SP, and VHS. We also can
accept PAL tapes in VHS ONLY. Acceptable disk formats are DVD Video, CD-ROM Windows
AVI, CD-ROM Windows Quicktime, CD-ROM Windows MPEG, or CD-ROM Apple Quicktime.
No slates or color bars please.

Entry fee is $39.50 (U.S. Dollars) per entry. Make check payable to DV Awards and it must
accompany the entry. Videos entered in multiple categories require an entry fee for each
category. You may charge entry fees to a credit card, please fill out all applicable information
on the form.
Deadline
The deadline for the Spring 2008 session is May 1, 2008. Entries must be postmarked by
that date. A late entry period will exist until May 15, 2008. Late entries must include a $20 late
fee per entry and MUST be RECEIVED by May 15, 2008. Entries not meeting these
requirements will be held over until the next competition.
